Crystal Forest F5 #0114-021    This instrument was completed in January of 2014. It features an Adirondack red spruce top, red-curly maple back sides and neck. It has a flat ebony fingerboard with EVO Gold frets and a 1 1/8" bone nut. The peghead overlay is ebony with my own unique CF M.O.P. inlay and tree logo. The top and back are from Smith Creek CNC plates. This mandolin has a standard 13 7/8" scale length, and is fitted with a Cumberland Acoustics bridge. The tuning machines are gold plated Grover 309, 18:1. The tailpiece is a cast Ashton Bailey, gold plated. Finish is nitrocellulose lacquer.
