Crystal Forest F5 #0913-019
This instrument was completed in September of 2013 and has very little play. It features an
Adirondack red spruce top, red-curly maple back sides and neck. Flat ebony fingerboard with a 1 1/8" bone nut.
Eboney peghead overlay with unique Crystal Forest pearl inlay. Top and back tonewoods are from
Smith Creek
. This mandolin has a standard 13 7/8" scale length, and is fitted with a
Cumberland Acoustics bridge. The tuning machines are Grover 309, 18:1. The tailpiece is a cast,
nickel plated Allen. for extra sustain. Finish is nitrocellulose lacquer. This
custom F5 would satisfy a discerning mandolin player.
